LAUGH LITERARY AND MAN THE HUMPING GUNS was Bukowski's brief entry into the little magazine world in 1970-71. Edited by Bukowski and Neeli Cherkovski, they wound up writing some of the material themselves under pen names because many of the submissions they received were awful. Bukowski claims to have sent out some scathing rejection letters, though none have ever surfaced.
